Professor Hubbard will be honored at the AIAA Foundation Associate Fellows Dinner in conjunction with the 45th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit. There he will be presented with his Associate Fellow pin and certificate. The dinner will be held on Monday, 8 January 2007 in Reno, NV.
Dr. Hubbard's career has spanned some 20 years and includes work in aero-acoustics for noise-control, adaptive structures, spatially distributed transducers and the extension of modern time domain control methodologies into the spatial domain for the real-time control of distributed systems. His work has resulted in a dozen patents which have demonstrated the efficacy and practicality of the techniques that he and his students have developed over these years.
