Join the Aerospace Engineering Department for another installment of the Sikorsky Aircraft Colloquium Series. Dr. Michael S. Torok, Vice-President and Chief Engineer for United States Marine Corps Programs for Sikorsky Aircraft will be the guest speaker.

Fresh off receiving the 2011 DOD System Engineering Top 5 Program Award, this brief will highlight the DOD's only remaining, helicopter development program, the USMC's CH-53K. In addition to providing status on the program, sub-topics will include the system engineering approach, technology development, the use of advanced digital design, simulation and manufacturing tools and a look forward to flight test and full rate production. Although focused on the CH-53K Program, the discussion will address product development approaches that have wide applicability across multiple business sectors.

More information about Dr. Torok is available on the aerospace department website here.
