Guest Speaker: Eric Greenwood, Penn State
Topic Area Focus: Rotorcraft Aeroacoustics
Eric Greenwood is an assistant professor at Pennsylvania State University. He conducts both theoretical and experimental research in rotorcraft aeroacoustics. His recent research combines fast aeroacoustic modeling techniques with work in human-machine interfaces and autonomy to imbue crewed, partially-, and fully-autonomous vertical lift aircraft with an “acoustic awareness” to enable intuitive low noise flight operations.
