Engineering better medicines and advancing health informatics: two of the National Academy of Engineering's Grand Challenges.

At a special Presidential Distinguished Forum, President Pines will be joined by Dr. Roderic I. Pettigrew, Ph.D., M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Engineering Health and Executive Dean for Engineering Medicine (EnMed) at Texas A&M University, who has developed a novel means of addressing both.

The seminar will be on Thursday, October 26th at 11am in the Stanley R.  Zupnik Forum at A. James Clark Hall.
