Key Responsibilities 

  • Machining, brazing/soldering, and tig welding including vacuum welding of steel, stainless, aluminum and other metals (some plastics too)
  • Consulting and advice on projects and general problem solving of students' projects(in a nuts and bolts capacity)
  • Overseeing/assisting of grad students who desire to do their own machining when appropriate
  • Programming, set-up, and running of CNC lathe and mill, and manual machines
